Melee + ranged: I actually had problems thinking of anything cool and useful. There are no ranks, you just take the talent. Mostly useful for magic classes sometimes using melee weapons. It would also work in tandem with Chaos Bane. Anyways, you could make it so that it releases those damaging orbs like the set bonus you get when using Specter Mask. I have no idea what Empowered Weapon does. You could make it so that melee weapons with projectiles receive a 5-10% increased weapon damage for Teir IV. It seems extremely reasonable considering some melee weapons have projectiles. Suggestions regarding the effects in Tier IV and V: What exactly does the Empowered Weapon effect do?ĭo you level these up like Masteries in League of Legends where you put a point in something and it has a cap? Shouldn't you give benefits to people who want to specialize in one class? If that's the case, then how come there are no effects for some of the hybrids in some Tiers? Another limit is: you can only take one active from tier IV and one from tier V (to limit the additional keybinds needed). There is also a limit of how many talents of each tier you can take: 2/4/7/5/3. To move further in tiers, you need 1/3/5/3 talents in the previous tier.

That means 21 talents (you get one free talent in the beginning). The idea is that each boss / event / NPC saved grants you additional talent. The orange talents are the fusion ones, while green are standard. Instead of packing all talents into one tree, you can take a fusion talent - they're always passives (sometimes toggleable ones, but these aren't really actives) and benefit from both talent trees. Tiers IV and V are special in another way too. Tier IV consists of one active ability (the underlined one) and 2 a little more appealing passives. First 3 tiers are boring "+X something" type bonuses, sometimes just a little cool effects. There are 6 talent trees, each consisting of 5 tiers: melee, ranged, magic, summon, defense and utility.

If I happen to actually write and finish this mod, you'll be supposed to play it with other mods that make the game harder (Arkhalis' Dynamic Difficulty for example). Keep in mind stuff in here ISN'T BALANCED. It took me 2 days (not non-stop obviously) to figure out a system that doesn't suck that much.
